CFTA is now accepting conference presentation proposals  Share your experiences and best practices with colleagues from across the nation and internationally.  Since CFTA is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, all money received pays for future conferences and community resources so we cannot offer registration discounts to presenters.  However, as you will find listed below, there are many benefits to presenting and being involved at this higher level of involvement.

Topics of special interest from post-conference survey respondents are provided to serve as suggestions, but proposals are not limited to topics on this list.

  • Sessions may be recorded
  • Presenters may be asked to submit PDF of slides
  • Business Partner presentations should be either 1) organized and presented with a campus client or 2) an informational presentation on a subject of interest without sales solicitation.
  • Estimate 30-45 minutes for presentation time.  Final times will be determined once all submissions are received.
  • Presenters should bring their own laptop to present from
  • WiFi and presentation equipment will be available in all session rooms
  • Audio not available in session rooms
  • Standard VGA connections available. Bring your own non-standard connections (Mac adapters).
  • Bring a presentation remote (clicker), if desired

Conference Presenter Instructions 

Presentation Guidelines

      • Estimate 30-45 minutes for presentation time including Q&A  

      • Business Partner presentations should be either 1) organized and presented with a campus client or 2) an informational presentation on a subject of interest without sales solicitation.

      • Presenters should bring their own laptop to present from and a USB flash drive with their slides, including any logos, images, and additional media. 

      • Bring a presentation remote (clicker), if desired.

 

 Setup Instructions

      • Session moderators will be available.  Come to your session early for ample setup time.  Keep watch of the time to not go over your allotted session time.

      • Conference session locations will be equipped with video screens and podium with microphone and video connections.

      • Video connections will be provided for VGA and DVI. Please bring an adapter for your electronic device, if needed, to be able to connect with one of these.

      • Reliable Public WiFi is available

      • Sessions may be recorded and published to the CFTA YouTube channel for public distribution.

      • Please prepared to provide a USB flash drive with 20MB PDF of your slides at the time of your presentation.
